Tecnología Avanzada en Composite, S.A. de C.V. was founded in 2003, with the vision of manufacturing radio control airplanes (Ready to Fly) made of vacuum composite. Later, the possibility of manufacturing other types of products with the same technology and the same materials used for the manufacture of radio control airplanes was considered, so the manufacture of kayaks was started.

Over time, more knowledge was acquired about the different types and uses of fabrics and resins, increasing the manufacture or repair of other products with these same materials. In 2006, we started manufacturing composite bows (“flying bows”) for the cable industry, specifically for the company Draka, part of the Prysmian Group. We started with rudimentary tools and some manufacturing difficulties, as the products were very different from those that had been manufactured until then. The new product was well received by customers, so we started to visit other companies in the cable sector, leaving them products to test and demonstrate the quality and responsiveness of the product. In this way, we were able to enter this national market, displacing foreign manufacturers in the national territory, being currently the only manufacturers at national level of these products based on resins and fibers. We currently have transnational clients with plants in Europe, Asia and South America, in addition to being an ISO 9001 certified company.
